Leprechaun costumes are great for Halloween or St. Patrick’s Day parties. You can go as a fun-loving, gold seeking leprechaun, or dress up as a scary, evil leprechaun.
The first step to making a leprechaun costume is to find green outfits. Dress in green shorts and a blouse, a green jumpsuit or even a green suit or tuxedo. Lady leprechauns can wear a green skirt or dress, complete with green or green and white striped tights or knee socks.
Look for shamrock accessories, or cut out shamrock-shapes in paper or felt. Wear a green or black top hat to complete your leprechaun costume. Other leprechaun accessories are pipes, a pot of gold, and a red beard and wig.
