Every little girl – and many big girls – wants to be a princess. There are so many variations on the princess costume: you can go all out with a fancy Disney costume, or make your own costume at home for a few bucks.
The Disney princess costumes are always popular. Go for the classic Cinderella costume, Snow White, Belle or Princess Aurora. It’s pretty easy to make a great princess costume at home, and I suggest this for smaller girls who won’t really care if they’re dressed up in a pricier Disney version of the princess costume. It’s also ideal for all ages who don’t have a big Halloween budget. All you’ll need is a nice dress or a ballet leotard and tutu and accessories. It can be as simple as a plastic magic wand and tiara, available at any costume shop. You can add anything you like: necklaces, a pointy princess hat, glass slippers, or even fairy wings.
